Volunteering for LACL can take on many forms.  But what we know for sure is that being a part LACL in any capacity is like a family joined together in the common goal of advocating for people in the community who are not always able to advocate for themselves – making changes today and for the future.

If you have time, talent, expertise or any other resource, we would be happy to have you join us.  You could help with:

• Board membership
• dinner dance hosting
• fundraising events of various kinds
• participation in groups
• professional expertise (e.g., business, legal, lobbying, marketing)

Other volunteer opportunities could include:

• using your knowledge and expertise to help us tell our story and the compelling stories of the people for whom we advocate
• sharing your own stories of success as well as your stories of difficulty
• offering support to a new parent who has a child with a disability
