I have many friends with disabilities that tell me what inclusion means to them. As I listen to them talk about citizenship in a free society, freedom in decision making and the sanctity of a home it comes to me that this is why it is so hard for some people to understand inclusion. It is because we have it, we live and breathe it. We have it when we go to bed at night and we still have it in the morning when we get up and yet we don’t understand the struggles of those that don’t have it.
