Congratulations to the board and staff at LACL. I just found out the other day that the 'Our Journey' book is being used as part of the course materials for the Community Rehabilitation diploma program which certifies students to work in the disability field all across Canada. I still believe that families really are changing the world for their children by sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with all of us who have gotten through our lives without being directly impacted by disability, and that making this book available to students is one more open door.
